Gravity separation methond plays an important role in gold ore dressing plant.As per different gold ore type, there are different gravity separation method.With regard to the rein quartz ore, if there are much free gold particle size, gravity method is a good way to collect most of the gold particles. Here we introduce to you the most popular gravity gold collecting way.

 

Crushing

The big size stone is broken into small lumps by jack hammer, then they are fed into the jaw crusher or hammer crusher mill for primary and seconary crushing.

Grinding

The crushed stone size less than 20mm will be fed into the ball mill to be ground and mix with water.

Screening and Grading

The slurry will be fed into the spiral classifer, over size stone will be returned back to ball mill for regrinding, qualified sizes be transfered to the centrifugal concentrator.

Separation

Gold centrifugal concentrator and shaking table are the main equipment to collect the gold concentrate.

Mercury almagamation processing.

After collecting the gold concentrate, there are usually two ways, one is to handle the cyanide tank leaching; other way is to put the concentrate into the small mercury mixing barrel, or a small ball mill. Then the mixture of gold and mercury can be gotten. The gold mixture then can be put into the electric furnace for smelting and get the pure gold.
